Position Overview:

Responsible for project-specific Developing, buying, planning, and material delivery. The Candidate shall ensures cost, quality, and delivery requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle - from engineering design through material delivery to the customer’s site. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to collaborate cross functionally, have strong Procurement Process Management and Project management skills, and a deep understanding of Product and supplier development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Candidate shall be primarily responsible for Sourcing of Steel, Foundations ( W beams), Rolled formed sections, Steel Structures ( Stamped Parts) for Tracker System.

• Maintain constant communication with Existing vendors, suppliers and customer to ensure the

proper operations of the company in the region.

• Vendor assessment for suppliers for product development. Take lead in the cost and quality evaluation and selection of subcontractors and vendors.

• Oversee project management tasks directly related to assigned projects with suppliers and vendors.

Analyses and prepare the daily and weekly reports and supports the team in analyzing and integrating in the Project deliverables.

• Prioritize various requests received from customers and suppliers and work cross functionally with

teams internally to seek resolutions.

• Detect and report contractual risks in Project Execution, taking responsibility for the analysis,

implementation and monitoring of possible mitigation or elimination measures.

• Communicate with key stakeholders in regard to project performance and new Product

developments.

• Coordinate for Parts inspection for Suppliers during various phases of Product development as per System QAP.

• Travel for key Supplier visits for resolution of supplies related issue.

• Perform for key product development checklist and sample inspection in coordination with QA.

• Development of alternate Supplier as per requirement.

• Capacity development through new partner development like fabricator supplier etc as per annual business plan.

Educational Qualification & Experience

1. BE degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration, Master’s is a bonus
2. 10+ years of work experience in sourcing, supply chain, planning.
3. Solar, Electronics or Machine Manufacturing experience preferred.
4. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
5. Understanding of Solar market dynamics and sound business judgement
6. Strong Negotiation and leadership skills
7. Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
8. Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
9. Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions
10. Ability to work in fast pace start-up environment
11. Familiar with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and QMS and EMS process, such as SWOT analysis.
12. Hands on knowledge on EXPORT IMPORT procedure, Duties, Tariff & Various Duty Benefit Scheme.
13. Hand on knowledge on LC Application.

Working Conditions

1. Work location is Chennai/Bangalore, India.

2. Travel to FTC offices and suppliers on need basis.

3. Working Type- Hybrid
