What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Sourcing Manager - Regional Commercial who will join our team at Product Sourcing Directorate in Beko Corporate.
- Manage suppliers and sourcing strategies,
- Prepare RFQs, collecting offers, doing comparison analyses, investment studies, and evaluation and supplier nominations with total cost of ownership approach, using related purchasing tools (Kraljicpositioning, spend analysis, cost management, BOM analysis, activity based costing etc.),
- Ensure progress of product management, supplier development, quality management,
- Follow up market trends, technologies, supplier road maps, changing policies and legislation,
- Prepare regular purchasing, supplier, market and industry trends reports,
- Realize price reduction methods and regular negotiations enforcing the best purchase conditions,
- Communicate cross functionally with global internal departments (i.e. Product Management, R&D, Quality, Planning, Sales and Marketing),
- Use necessary methods and measures to achieve the department targets (cost, profit, payment term, market share, on-time delivery, quality etc.),
- Make continuous research for new alternative suppliers to improve global supplier portfolio for Beko’s OEM/ODM needs.
The position located in Çayırova, İstanbul.
How do we decribe perfect match?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (MBA is a plus),
- 3 years+ sourcing or purchasing experience and willing to pursue a career in product sourcing,
- Experience in Home Appliances production and/or quality assurance and quality management systems is a plus,
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel and PowerPoint),
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
- Thinking broadly about business,
- Understanding the needs of the market & customer,
- Having the desire to do outstanding jobs,
- Recognizing and understanding the emotions of other people,
- Listening to different perspectives and showing flexibility,
- Building collaboration,
- Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas.
