Sourcing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with a Canadian company and a strong background in sourcing products and suppliers from India, China, and Pakistan. Experience in the home textile industry is mandatory.

This role requires excellent supplier management, negotiation, product sourcing, and communication skills to support our procurement and product development operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and manufacturers in India, China, and Pakistan.
• Source home textile products including bedding, towels, curtains, cushions, throws, and related textile products.
• Conduct supplier research, qualification, and performance evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, MOQs, and contracts with suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, samples, and product specifications from vendors.
• Coordinate product development and sample approvals with suppliers.
• Monitor production timelines and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Work closely with internal teams to meet sourcing, quality, and cost objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while developing new sourcing opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, raw material pricing, and industry developments.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company requirements.
• Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, delivery, and pricing.
• Prepare sourcing reports, supplier comparisons, and cost analyses.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of sourcing/procurement experience.
• Previous experience working with a Canadian company is required.
• Proven experience sourcing products from China, India, and Pakistan.
• Mandatory experience in the Home Textile industry.
• Strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes and supply chains.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience with supplier audits and quality control processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and sourcing-related documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing directly with international manufacturers and factories.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and international trade practices.
• Experience working with sourcing platforms and supplier databases.
• Understanding of Canadian market quality and compliance requirements.

Onsite Position
Timings: 6 pm to 2:30 am

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
