Administrative Assistants: $15.45/hour - $17.00/hour
Examples of Important Duties: Display a positive attitude and answer telephone in a timely manner. Monitor the work area/facility with a conscientious effort to promote the efficient use of supplies and materials. Transfer all calls, relay messages, and distribute mail to the appropriate staff. Create, review, and submit documents for approval and processing. Maintain up to date ?les. Assist managers by communicating and providing technical support. Track facility revenue and expenditures. Monitor necessary administrative supplies and materials to obtain timely replenishments.

Qualifications: Previous Administrative experience is a plus!

Café Attendants: $15.45/hour - $17.00/hour
Examples of Important Duties: Display a positive attitude and greet customers. Set up, open, stock, break down, and clean inventory. Maintain a safe and hygienic work area. Take orders, collect payment, and prepare food and beverages. Follow all company, safety and security policies and procedures. Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries in a timely manner.

Qualifications: Complete safety trainings and certi?cations as required. Previous food prep/service and/or cash handling experience or certi?cation a plus!

Custodial/Grounds: $15.45/hour - $17.00/hour
Examples of Important Duties: Display a positive attitude. Clean and maintain the entire complex, interior, and exterior. Clean glass and stainless-steel surfaces, dust, remove trash, sweep, mop, and vacuum. Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers, and restock supplies. Perform minor maintenance and repairs. Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries in a timely manner. Monitor the work area/facility with a conscientious effort to promote the efficient use of power, fuel, telecom, and water. Properly recycle Commission waste including paper, plastic, glass, and other products. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Previous custodial, grounds keeping or maintenance experience a plus!

Customer Service Representatives: $15.45/hour - $17.00/hour
Examples of Important Duties: Greet customers and answer telephones in a timely manner. Transfer all calls to staff. Relay messages and distribute mail to staff. Efficiently use the computer to register patrons for courses, memberships, and special events. Physically assist customers with locating classes, rental parties, and special events within the facility. Provide safe, engaging, quality drop-in childcare activities for small groups of children ages 5-12. Monitor sports activities in the Gymnasium. Ensure all facility safety and operations rules and regulations are being followed. Sell/upsell facility memberships and promotional items. Clean, load in, set up, monitor, break down and load out rental parties and special events. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Customer Service Positions available in SAARC: Front Desk, Course Coordination Support, Drop-in Childcare, Gymnasium Attendant, Membership Specialist, Pro Shop Attendant, Rental Attendant, and Special Event Staff.

Qualifications: Must consistently display a positive attitude and remain knowledgeable of all facility activities and procedures. Ideal candidates must be able to successfully multi-task within a fast-paced environment and thoroughly enjoy going above and beyond to help people. Previous customer service, sales, sports and/or cash handling experience a plus!

Fitness Specialists: $15.45/hour - $17.00/hour
Examples of Important Duties: Display a positive attitude. Demonstrate a general knowledge of cardiovascular and strength training principles according to American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) guidelines.

Qualifications: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, stop, and spot repeatedly without extended delay or difficulty. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly without extended delay or difficulty. Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Previous ?tness, group exercise, health, nutrition, sports or wellness education, experience, and certi?cation by a recognized national certi?cation organization required.

Instructors: $15.45/hour - $26.66/hour

Key responsibilities include creating and leading classes, maintaining equipment, maintaining a working knowledge of trends, and planning various engaging teaching activities. Personal Trainers: $15.45/hour - $26.66/hour
Examples of Important Duties: Display a positive attitude. Safely demonstrate exercises/routines. Assist clients to minimize injury and promote ?tness. Modify exercises according to clients' ?tness levels. Monitor client progress, provide information and resources on general ?tness and health issues. Administer emergency ?rst aid if necessary. Create individualized plans for achieving client ?tness goals. Guide clients through ?tness routines, nutrition recommendations, and health assessments. Solicit new business by sharing the bene?ts of personal training.

Qualifications: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, stoop, and spot repeatedly without extended delay or difficulty. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly without extended delay or difficulty. Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Current Personal Trainer Certi?cation by ACE, ACSM, NASM,NSCA, or WITS required.

Training positions available include:
  • Group Exercise Instructors (Bootcamp, HIIT, Functional Fitness)
  • Nutritionists (Working with clients in our personal training department)
  • Sports Performance Trainer (Basketball, Football, Volleyball, etc.)

Summer Camp Assistant Counselor: $16.50/hour
Examples of Important Duties: We are looking for an enthusiastic, attentive camp staff to lead, support, and motivate campers as they enjoy all that the camp has to offer. The camp staff will help plan events and lead group events, monitor campers and respond to incidents, such as behavioral problems or accidents, log events and maintain records relating to activities, and discuss camper participation and concerns with parents and other camp staff members. You should be positive, proactive, and caring while focusing on giving campers a fun, safe camp experience.

To succeed within a summer camp position, you should be upbeat, decisive, and responsible. You should also be organized and possess strong leadership skills.

Rental Attendant: $15.45-$17.00/Hour Rate
Examples of Important Duties: Preparing, managing, and breaking down events by setting up rooms, arranging furniture and equipment, and assisting guests. Key responsibilities include greeting attendees, providing information, addressing questions or issues, monitoring event ?ow, and performing cleaning and setup tasks before and after events.

Minimum Qualifications: This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure.

Xtreme Teen Program Coordinators: $15.45/hour - $17.00/hour
Examples of Important Duties: Work Friday & Saturday evenings with youth aged 10 to 17. Staff must develop, implement and be willing to participate in quality on and off-site program activities and community outreach events.

Qualifications: Must be 21years of age with a demonstrated desire to actively support positive youth development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • All selected candidates must display excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age (under age 17 requires approved work permit).
