General Purpose:
Having and maintaining a working knowledge of a spa and maintaining a high standard of professionalism along with customer service.
Essential Duties:
- Flexible hours to include AM, PM and weekends.
- Maintain personal integrity, client confidentiality and professional standards for best practice.
- Informs Department Manager of all required spa supplies for inventory purposes.
- Tracking of retail and back bar product line and supplies.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Attends staff meetings.
- Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, relays cancellations to staff & clients.
- Proper documentation of all incidents.
- Ensures the staff is fully knowledgeable on the use and benefits of services, products and activities.
- Monitors guest feedback and follows up on requests and comments.
- Operates computer accurately and properly books all appointments when scheduled.
- Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
- Leads by example to create memorable moments by personalizing the client experience and actively promoting a fun and social atmosphere.
- Assist with annual budget, revenue goals and expenses for the related amenities in spa & fitness department.
- Assist in providing social media and website content to Membership Director to promote activities and the social environment of the Club and its amenities.
- Implements policies and procedures for the related amenities including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services.
- Responsible for ensuring overall cleanliness of all areas. (i.e., spa, fitness pool & tack room)
- Manages point of sale system, on-line reservation system and other technology to effectively market and communicate to the membership.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Education/Experience:
- Certificate from college, or accredited facility; and 3 plus years related to management in spa environment.
Certificates/Licenses:
- Current State Massage or Aesthetician license and other certificates, CPR/AED.
