Spa Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Spa Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a relaxing environment while utilizing strong communication and sales skills. Previous experience in spa, retail or customer service settings is preferred. 3-5 days a week from 8:30am - 1:30pm

Duties

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
• Manage appointment scheduling using POS systems and maintain accurate records
• Handle phone, text and email inquiries with professional etiquette, proper grammar, and provide information about services
• Upsell spa packages, products, and retail items to enhance client experience and revenue
• Conduct product demos and promote merchandise through effective merchandising techniques
• Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Restock retail shelves, organize product displays, and assist with inventory management
• Assist with basic retail sales tasks such as stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness
• Support supervising staff with daily operations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in spa services, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and professional etiquette
• Ability to upsell products and services effectively
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations
• Experience with STX Spa management system is desirable but not required
• Supervising experience is a bonus but not mandatory
• Friendly demeanor, excellent customer service skills, and a professional appearance
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
