Special Education Teacher

Job Summary
Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher (MM/ MS) to join our team in Aliso Viejo, CA

• Position: Special Education Teacher (MM/ MS)
• Full-time or Part-time : Full Time/ Part time
• Age Group or Grade Level : All
• Credentials/License Required : Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe
• Working Hours : 35 - 40 per week
• Start & End Dates : ASAP until June, 2026

Duties:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Deliver differentiated instruction.
• Apply effective behaviour management strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress.
• Provide speech therapy support.
• Offer academic tutoring.
• Mentor classroom support staff.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support students' educational journeys.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behaviour for reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
• State-specific Education Specialist Credential
• Experience working with students with various disabilities.

Job Type: Part/Full-time and In person

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
