Special Education Teacher

The Center for People with Disabilities is urgently seeking dedicated and experienced Special Education Teachers to join our growing team in Qatar. Successful candidates will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment for students with special needs, ensuring each learner reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and educational strategies tailored to students with diverse learning needs.

· Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methodologies to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles.

· Assess students’ academic, social, and emotional development and maintain accurate progress records.

· Provide direct instruction in both individual and group settings.

· Collaborate effectively with specialists, therapists, and families to deliver holistic educational experiences.

· Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant special education policies, procedures, and standards.

· Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with individuals with special needs (5 years preferred).

· Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), behavior management strategies, and differentiated instruction.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
