Resource Specialist (RSP)

We are currently in need of a vibrant and organized RSP that is dedicated to social justice and equity. We keep the caseload small for our Educational Specialist faculty. Our RSP teachers are supported by a highly-qualified Director of Special Education. Time for planning and collaboration is built into the daily/weekly school schedule.

James Jordan Middle School is a small award-winning public school for grades 6-8 located in Reseda, CA. JJMS is a collaborative, co-teaching opportunity for an enthusastic RSP.

Requirements

• Valid California Educational Specialist Credential (RSP)

OR Current enrollment in a University Internship Program

• Completed bachelors degree from an accredited university.
• Proof of right to work
• Ability to pass Department of Justice background check
• TB test results from within the last 18 months.
• Prior experience working with children or as an RSP
• 3 professional references preferred
• Welligent experience preferred

Pay: From $62,920.00 per year
