TITLE: SPECIAL PROJECTS DATA ENTRY

REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

JOB SUMMARY: This temporary, part-time position is designed to organize all DCWIB/DCWORKS programming and assist with effective implementation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties may include, but not be limited to:

  • Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
  • Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.
  • Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers.
  • Search for and investigate information contained in files.
  • Input text-based and numerical information from source documents.
  • Provide occasional administrative support.
  • Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors.
  • Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.

WORK HOURS

Meetings will be held between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday- Friday. Working hours will be agreed upon. This part-time position is in person and will cap at approximately 25 hours per week for 6 to 10 weeks.

KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft suite including Word and Excel. Ability to communicate effectively with other staff, Board Members, funders, government officials and the general public; ability (overall) to get along well with others good judgement, tact, initiative and resourcefulness. Previous management experience preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • QuickBooks Experience required
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $27.00 per hour
