JOB PURPOSE:

The Group Credit is a credit organization that enables business growth of First Abu Dhabi Bank’s Personal Banking Business, meets the service aspirations of all our customers and remains an independent assurance provider of credit quality through the possession of sound credit risk, product and market knowledge. CAD-KSA is handling the preparation & verification of all security documents of the Personal Banking customers.


The role is responsible for preparation and vetting of documentation relating to credit facilities and accurate detailing before inputting the same into the Bank’s system. Further, he/ she is responsible for ensuring the enforceability/authenticity of the security documents executed by the customers along with monitoring the direct reports.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Reviewing prepared Contract, security / support documentation in accordance with the credit approvals.
  • Ensuring all security / support documents have been properly executed, signatures are verified and authenticities of the signatories are supported by resolution / POA.
  • Ensuring rectification of existing discrepancies / deficiencies in security documentation for all loans that have been disbursed.
  • Ensuring approval from relevant authorities is held for deferral / waiver of incomplete documents.
  • Ensuring integrating accurate and timely internal reporting and regulatory reporting.
  • Reviewing & circulating documentation deficiency (expired / deferred documents) reports and following up for its timely submission / renewal.
  • Ensuring that collateral data in the Bank’s system are up to date.
  • Ensuring periodical cleanup of old and obsolete security documents to keep updated / valid security documents in the security folder.
  • Verifying and confirming all required security / support documents are physically held in safe custody.
  • Authorizing security documents / collaterals in the Bank’s system.
  • Reviewing / verifying approvals obtained for permanent release of collaterals, security documentation and ensuring there are no liabilities or outstanding and facilities are cancelled.
  • Monitoring released limits in the Bank's system in coordination with Credit Controllers.
  • Monitoring Evaluation of Title Deeds and contacting Evaluation Companies
  • Distributing work among team members and also ensure smooth flow of day-to-day transactions.

Internal:

  • Risk Management Unit, Operations, Treasury, Islamic Banking, SME & Personal Banking Group, Trade Finance Department, Relationship Managers, Credit Mid Office, Credit control Team, IT, CCS, Legal Dept.

External:

  • Insurance companies, FAB Broker & Real Estate Companies,


BUSINESS ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Adherence to credit policies and procedures.
  • Turn Around Time for processing documentation & limits encoding requests.
  • Monitoring expiring / expired guarantees in favour of the Bank.
  • Contribution to business growth by supporting CIB.
  • Timely submission of reports.
  • Provide full guidance, training, technical support & interpretation of credit policy & work procedures to team members and new staff.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree with at least 10 years banking experience
  • Experience in Credit Administration function is a must and Credit Risk experience will be an added advantage.
  • High integrity and business ethics

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
