Specialist Engineer, Procurement

We are hiring a Specialist Engineer, Procurement with experience in the oil and gas industry to to manage and optimize the procurement processes for our oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, contract negotiation, and supply chain management within the oil and gas industry

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services required for oil and gas projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
• Develop and manage procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers and service providers.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and reliable suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the procurement process.
  
  

Qualification Required.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the similar role.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and supply chain management.
• Previous experience in the ADNOC project on a PMC role is a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
