Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Specification Engineer to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing and managing technical specifications, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with international and local standards. Candidates with UAE/GCC experience, insulation product knowledge, and a background in contracting or interior fit-out companies will be highly preferred.

This role requires excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to work closely with architects, consultants, project managers, and sales teams to secure product approvals and project specifications.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Specification Management

• Prepare, review, and update technical specifications, BOQs, and compliance documents.
• Ensure all specifications meet international standards (ASTM, BS, ISO, EN) and UAE regulations.
• Provide technical support to consultants, architects, designers, and contractors.
• Develop and maintain specification libraries and technical documentation.
• Analyze project requirements and recommend suitable materials and systems.

Consultant & Client Coordination

• Build strong relationships with consultants, architects, interior designers, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct technical meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Follow up on approvals, submittals, and material compliance.
• Support tender and pre-qualification processes with accurate technical data.

Project & Sales Support

• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to secure product specifications.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and value engineering solutions.
• Provide site support and technical clarifications during project execution.
• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure specification compliance.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and compliance reports.
• Maintain records of approvals, certifications, and project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Specification Engineer.
• Mandatory UAE/GCC experience.
• Proven experience in insulation materials (thermal / acoustic / fire-rated systems preferred).
• Experience working with contracting or interior fit-out companies is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of international standards (ASTM, BS, ISO, EN).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and technical documentation tools.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
