Spray Painter

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, lacquers, and other finishes using spray guns and related equipment.
• Ensure smooth and even paint application on wood, metal, MDF, gypsum, or other interior materials.
• Select appropriate paint types and finishes based on project requirements.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, touch up as necessary, and correct any defects.
• Maintain and clean spray guns, compressors, and other painting tools regularly.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations for paint handling and spray booth operations.
• Coordinate with carpentry, polishing, and finishing teams to ensure timely delivery of completed items.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in spray painting preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in interior, furniture, or joinery spray painting.
• Strong knowledge of paint types, color mixing, and surface preparation techniques.
• Experience using airless, HVLP, or conventional spray equipment.
• Attention to detail and a good sense of color and finish quality.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, drawings, and finish schedules.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and handling painting equipment.
• Awareness of workplace safety practices and use of PPE.

Preferred Experience:

• Work experience in interior design, furniture manufacturing, joinery, or fit-out companies.
• Knowledge of modern paint systems (PU, NC, water-based, metallic finishes, etc.).
• Familiarity with spray booth operation and ventilation systems.
