SQA Lead

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Lead to drive quality strategy, lead QA initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will manage the QA team, define testing standards, and implement best practices across manual and automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the SQA team to ensure high performance and quality standards.
• Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices across projects.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide early feedback.
• Create and oversee comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing frameworks.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate all testing activities across releases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Ensure thorough regression testing and validation of bug fixes.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects with clear root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality alignment.
• Monitor QA metrics (defect density, test coverage, pass/fail rates) and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure QA processes align with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Stay updated with emerging QA tools, trends, and test strategies.

Requirements & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven experience in creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing (white-box and black-box).
• Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
