We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Lead to drive quality strategy, lead QA initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will manage the QA team, define testing standards, and implement best practices across manual and automated testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the SQA team to ensure high performance and quality standards.
- Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices across projects.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide early feedback.
- Create and oversee comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing frameworks.
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate all testing activities across releases.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Ensure thorough regression testing and validation of bug fixes.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects with clear root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality alignment.
- Monitor QA metrics (defect density, test coverage, pass/fail rates) and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure QA processes align with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Stay updated with emerging QA tools, trends, and test strategies.
Requirements & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience in creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing (white-box and black-box).
- Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
