JOB DESCRIPTION

Almodovar Group, LLC is seeking a Squarespace Designer to support the creation, customization, and optimization of client and internal websites. This role focuses on translating brand vision and business goals into visually compelling, functional, and responsive Squarespace sites that enhance user experience and drive engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and build new Squarespace websites using provided brand guidelines and content
• Customize templates, layouts, and functionality for optimal user experience
• Implement basic SEO settings, metadata, and analytics integrations
• Optimize pages for desktop and mobile responsiveness
• Collaborate with internal team to refine site structure, calls-to-action, and visual elements
• Manage updates, revisions, and enhancements to existing Squarespace sites
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure alignment with Almodovar Group standards
• Provide recommendations for visual improvements and performance enhancements

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience designing and customizing Squarespace sites
• Strong understanding of web layout, typography, and user experience principles
• Ability to integrate third-party tools and embed custom code (HTML/CSS) as needed
• Attention to detail and a strong design aesthetic
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Responsive communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with SEO basics, analytics, and conversion-focused design is a plus

Compensation:

• Contract (1099)
• $25/hour
• Pay bi-weekly via direct deposit
