We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities for 3 to 4 operating companies under a single group. The role requires strong hands-on accounting capability, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work across multiple business units with accuracy and discipline.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, reporting directly to management and coordinating with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain full books of accounts for 3–4 companies (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each entity.
- Ensure accurate inter-company accounting and reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities on schedule.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file VAT / tax returns, where applicable.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting discipline across entities.
Cash Flow & Banking
- Monitor and manage cash flow, bank balances, and working capital.
- Perform bank reconciliations for all accounts.
- Support management with cash flow forecasts and payment planning.
Management Support
- Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and cost tracking.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for each company.
- Support management in decision-making with accurate financial data.
Systems & Documentation
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Work with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar).
- Improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency across companies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s / CPA / ACCA is an advantage).
- 5–8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in multi-company or group environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience managing multiple entities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Experience working with auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
