Sr. Accounts Supervisor/Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Accounts Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role involves supervising the accounts team, managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting management in decision-making by providing timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide the accounts team, ensuring smooth daily accounting operations.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
• Review and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and accounts regularly.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flows, budgets, and expense control for effective financial management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and payments.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of junior accounting staff.
• Assist in implementing and improving accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience. Fresh candidates are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and also in MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
