Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Sr. Business Development Executive to join our software house. The ideal candidate must have strong experience working with US-based and European clients and a solid understanding of IT services, software products, web development, mobile application development, and modern technology trends.
The candidate should be skilled in generating leads, managing client communication, preparing proposals, handling bids, and closing deals through platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, Toptal, and other freelancing or professional networks.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the software development industry, knows how to sell IT solutions, and can confidently communicate with international clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, approach, and engage potential clients in the US and European market.
Generate business through LinkedIn outreach, Upwork bidding, Toptal opportunities, email campaigns, referrals, and other lead generation channels.
Prepare professional proposals, estimates, and client presentations for IT services and software development projects.
Communicate with clients to understand their business needs and convert them into project requirements.
Work closely with the technical team to create accurate project scopes, timelines, and cost estimates.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Maintain client relationships and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Stay updated with trending technologies, software development frameworks, AI tools, web technologies, mobile app development, eCommerce platforms, and SaaS products.
Track leads, follow-ups, proposal status, and sales performance.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 4 to 8 years of business development experience in a software house or IT services company.
Proven experience working with US clients and European clients related to IT services and software products.
Strong expertise in LinkedIn lead generation, Upwork bidding, Toptal client handling, and proposal writing.
Sound understanding of web development, mobile application development, software development frameworks, SaaS solutions, AI tools, eCommerce platforms, and trending technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and client handling skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet monthly targets.
Positive, energetic, and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification
BS/MS in Marketing, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
