Sr. Copywriter - UX - IL

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to craft compelling, customer-focused content across digital and retail touchpoints. This role will focus on delivering clear, engaging, and compliant messaging across e-commerce, mobile, and in-store experiences, including healthcare or pharmacy-related communications. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, UX, and legal teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality copy for digital platforms including websites, mobile apps, email campaigns, and in-store communications.
• Create clear, concise, and user-friendly content for retail and healthcare-related experiences (e.g., prescriptions, wellness products, services).
• Partner with UX designers and researchers to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences through content.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and regulatory/compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Legal, and Compliance to deliver accurate and effective messaging.
• Optimize content for SEO and digital performance metrics where applicable.
• Review and edit copy to maintain consistency and quality across all channels.
• Contribute to content strategy, guidelines, and best practices.
• Mentor junior writers and provide constructive feedback to elevate team output.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or healthcare domains.
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital, campaign, and UX writing samples.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex or regulated information into clear, user-friendly language.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 42,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 147,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
