About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Creative Operations Manager to join our Marketing Creative Operations team, reporting to the Director, Creative Operations. This role helps orchestrate cross functional processes, drive efficiency, and continuous improvement. The role will collaborate closely with partners across merchandising, brand, ecommerce, and other key functions to increase effectiveness of our design and creative teams.
You will help synchronize workflows across functional partners while championing operational and process excellence for creative and editorial work. You will support the implementation, governance and ongoing refinement of streamlined project management processes, workflows and tools. This will ensure our creative resources are aligned to business priorities and that new ways of working are adopted effectively across teams.
This role is ideal for a process-minded, detail-oriented operations leader who is passionate about enabling creative teams to do their best work through clear workflows, documentation, and thoughtful change management.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
Process refinement and workflow design
Partner with the Director, Creative Operations to reengineer and optimize end-to-end creative and production processes (intake, briefing, prioritization, production, channel planning and execution processes, milestone mapping and calendarization, and more across marketing and key cross functional partners).- Continuously refine cross functional workflows to reduce friction, clarify roles and responsibilities (RACI), and improve speed and quality of delivery.
- Identify process bottlenecks and gaps; propose solutions that balance operational rigor with creative flexibility.
Cross functional coordination and stakeholder management
Act as operational hub between Creative, Brand, Merchandising, Campaign/Concept, Ecommerce, Channel Marketing and Strategy and other partners to ensure cohesive planning, timelines and deliverables.- Facilitate cross functional workshops with clear agendas, documentation and follow through action items.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, keeping focus on priorities and tradeoffs as the needs evolve.
- Model a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the creative operations function.
Tools, systems and reporting
Serve as the day-to-day administrator and subject matter expert for Workfront including configuration, governance, training and best practices.- Create reporting and analysis on resource usage, workflow throughput, SLAs, and project health; provide insights and recommendations and identify emerging needs.
- Create and maintain standardized dashboards and reports for leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and actionable.
- Partner with MarTech to support Creative operational work management including proofing, DAM and related platforms.
- Utilize Ai tools for continuous optimization, operational improvement and best practices.
Change management and enablement
- Partner with others to lead change management efforts for new or updated processes, workflows and tools, including stakeholder impact assessments, communications, training plans and feedback loops.
- Design and deliver training sessions, office hours, and “playbook” materials to drive adoption, consistency and confidence in new ways of working.
- Collect qualitative and quantitative feedback from teams to measure the effectiveness of changes and to inform continuous improvement.
Documentation and knowledge management
Own the creation, organization and maintenance of process documentation, SOPs, templates, playbooks and guidelines for creative and editorial operations.- Ensure all documentation is easy to locate, current, with clear version control while serving as the formal record for how work gets done.
- Partner with cross functional leaders to document handoffs, SLAs and expectations between teams, keeping artifacts aligned as business evolves.
- Contribute to post campaign/postmortem reviews to capture learnings and update processes and documentation accordingly.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, creative operations, marketing operations, or PMO roles.
- Experience in retail, ecommerce or consumer brands within a merchant driven organization is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing creative processes with internal teams and external partners or agencies, including intake, briefing, production, and delivery.
- Demonstrated strength in process design and continuous improvement, with the ability to reengineer ways of working and introduce best practices and benchmarks.
- Strong proficiency with work management and collaboration tools (Workfront preferred, Figma, DAM experience); comfortable serving as a system “power user” and trainer.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to navigate ambiguity and translate broad business goals into clear, actionable work for creative and production teams.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence cross functional partners, maintaining focus on business priorities while advocating for sustainable workflows.
- Exceptional written, verbal and visual communication skills with an emphasis on clear documentation, concise storytelling with data, and effective facilitation.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with change and a track record of leading teams through new processes, tools and structures, including training and enablement.

- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote location.

The starting salary for this position is $92,810 – $124,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $150,000. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
