Job Purpose
The Senior Engineering Manager – Retail Technology
will be responsible for driving the modernization, performance, and innovation of store applications including Store Inventory Management (SIM), Point of Sale (POS), Clienteling, and RFID-based solutions.
This role serves as the technical and delivery leader bridging engineering excellence, business value, and next-generation retail technology. The purpose is to enable seamless in-store experiences, ensure operational reliability, and lead the transformation of legacy store systems into modern, API-driven, and AI-augmented platforms.
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in enhancing developer productivity, embedding AI and LLM capabilities across engineering workflows, and ensuring system scalability and resilience across hundreds of stores.
Job Description
The Senior Engineering Manager will lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of enterprise store systems. The focus will be on building high-performing, reliable, and scalable retail applications that empower store associates, optimize inventory accuracy, and elevate the customer experience.

Job Experience

15–18 years
of total experience in software engineering, with at least
8+ years leading enterprise-scale retail technology programs

Strong hands-on or leadership background in
Store Inventory Management (SIM)

Experience in implementing, customizing, or modernizing
