Sr. Estimation Engineer -Commercial Interior

Responsibilities:

Lead the estimation process from initial inquiry to final submission.

Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for commercial interior fit-outs.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work.

Conduct site visits and interact with clients, consultants, and project managers to gather necessary data.

Analyze and compare vendor/supplier quotations and negotiate for optimal pricing.

Collaborate with design and project teams to understand project scope and technical requirements.

Prepare and submit tender documents, including pricing, assumptions, and clarifications.

Monitor market trends and update cost databases for materials, labor, and suppliers.

Assist in post-tender negotiations and contract award processes.

Prepare and maintain cost reports, estimate records, and project documentation.

Support the commercial team in the preparation of budgets and cost control during project execution.

Analyze project risks and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.

Maintain a database of suppliers and subcontractors with updated pricing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design or a related field.

5-7 years of experience in estimation for commercial interior fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and finishes.

Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD.

Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems is a plus.
