Job Purpose:

This role will be responsible for performing the day-to-day tasks related to the periodic internal and external financial reporting, audits, bookkeeping of CMPak group and providing support for ad-hoc projects as assigned by the management.
Job Responsibilities:

Closure of end-to-end month end closing activities including Recording and reconciliation of accruals, operating & other expenses, while ensuring the reasonableness of the amounts involved against the previous months, variance analysis in coordination with other departments to fetch the monthly closing data

Monthly management & group reporting with complete accuracy and within timelines along with preparation of monthly management accounts and group reporting pack

Provide support in assessment of new IFRS or updates in existing IFRS / changes in Companies Act, 2017 and their timely implementation along with system and processes development to support the effective implementation

Preparation and ensuring the correct reporting of financial statements of CMPak Group companies in line with requirements of IFRS, applicable laws and regulations (Companies Act, 2017)

Coordination and liaison with the external, internal and group auditors for provision of information, coordinating with all the other concerned departments and getting the audit report as per the timelines

Active collaboration within the team and outside the dept. for accurate and complete financial reporting.

Perform ad-hoc analyses on need basis, providing insightful views into the company's operations and financial performance. Refine and improve different balance sheet reconciliations to identify risk and probable issues from it

Enhancing the ERP processes for reporting department and for other departments

Follow and complete all the other tasks assigned as per the assigned timelines
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):
Education:
-
Must have a bachelor's degree
-
CA finalist, ACCA or ICMA shall be preferred
Work Experience:
-
Up to 3- 4 years of work experience.
Skills – Job Specific:
-
Strong & up to date knowledge of IFRS, IAS and Companies Act, 2017

Hands on knowledge of auditing standards & related regulations in Pakistan

Updated knowledge of taxation and corporate laws of Pakistan
-
Working experience of Oracle ERP will be preferred
-
Hands on experience of MS Office related products especially MS Excel and MS Power Point
