Job purpose To better support our mission to create exciting products for consumers,
we are looking for a new resource within consumer technical insights team,
R&D to support the vision. Hence, we are actively looking for a new
resource to join our dynamic research and development team and be the
link between consumer understanding and technical development teams!
The candidate will be responsible for not only the below mentioned
deliverables but also anything that may arise on day to day basis due to the
business requirement.
The position will support the reporting Manager CTI in consumer
research work, decoding the consumer preferences and identify
opportunity areas for development teams.
The Position Will Be Responsible For Consumer Technical Knowhow
and be a SPOC/SME for technical decisions on key projects.
The individual responsible is able to manage the project work
independently and engage with stakeholders on a day to day basis
to drive innovation, renovation projects

Responsibilities
Able to independently manage consumer research across
Bakery, Adjacency and Dairy categories
Able to moderate & manage consumer qualitative research
and generate insights from the findings!
Good experience in consumer quantitative testing, and able to
help the technical team to decode the findings from qual and
quant research
Able to understand sensory and analytical data, decode
consumer preference through technical data
Good knowledge of MS package (MS Power point, MS Excel,
MS Word)
Good team player, able to independently manage research and
timelines in a highly dynamic environment
Good understanding of statistics and analysis used for
consumer research is highly appreciated for the role
Interested in learning new areas of work like Sensory &
Analytical sciences and correlate the learnings to consumer
research findings
Desired competencies Good knowledge of consumer testing methodologies (Qual &
Quant) and on-field experience of consumer research
Able to moderate & manage consumer qualitative research
Strong communication and presentation skills, highly
developed soft skills needed for effective presentation and
business influence based on results
Able to simplify research findings into actionable insights
Experience in managing projects independently in the previous
role is highly appreciated as the role requires constant
interaction with PD, CMI, Marketing and External Agencies.
Good understanding of statistics and analysis used for
consumer research is highly appreciated for the role
Understanding of sensory methodologies is appreciated but
not required
Education Qualification Masters in Food Technology or Sensory or Consumer science or
Data science & Analytics or Consumer behaviour & Psychology
fields
Experience (in years) Relevant experience of 5+ years in consumer research at a
market research agency or an FMCG company.
Stakeholders (Internal) R&D, CMI, Marketing, Quality Assurance & IT
Stakeholders (External) Consumer research agencies; New Innovation development partners
in the fields of Consumer and Sensory research
