Senior Finance Executive
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Finance Executive to join our team. This pivotal role requires a hands-on professional capable of overseeing a broad spectrum of daily financial operations, from payroll and taxation to managing vendor relationships and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting to support effective business management.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Finance Executive will be responsible for the following core areas:
Accounting & Reporting
- Bookkeeping & Record Maintenance: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals in accordance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Billing Management: Oversee and manage the entire billing cycle, ensuring timely and accurate generation of customer invoices and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
- Monthly/Weekly Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive financial reports (e.g., P&L statements, cash flow, budget vs. actuals) on a weekly or monthly basis for management review.
Payroll & Taxation
- Payroll Handling: Process, manage, and execute the full payroll cycle for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all statutory regulations.
- Taxation & Compliance: Handle all corporate and employee-related taxation matters, including calculating, deducting, and ensuring timely deposit of TDS/GST/VAT/Sales Tax, etc.
- Tax Filing: Prepare and file all required monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns accurately and on schedule with relevant government authorities.
Cash & Treasury Management
- Handling Vendors: Manage all accounts payable processes, including verifying vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals, processing payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Dealing with Bank Matters: Act as the primary liaison with banking institutions, managing bank reconciliations, handling fund transfers, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring efficient cash flow management.
Operations Support
- Inventory Management: Work closely with operations to monitor and manage physical inventory records, conduct periodic stock audits, and ensure accurate valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in a comprehensive finance and accounting role, preferably in a Call Center or Software House environment.
- Strong working knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP B1, QuickBooks) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple financial functions simultaneously.
Location Onsite: Plot 6 Gulnabi HCH, Society Samama Market (near University Road)
Timings: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Work Days: Monday to Friday
