Job Summary
Participates in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, month-end analysis and reporting, and utilizes Workday Adaptive financial reporting system. Performs financial analysis activities and provides decision support to assist management with driving increased performance, achieving business objectives, and ensuring financial success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supports month-end close. Reviews financial results and resolves/explains variances, generates monthly board and executive financial statements, and publishes a variety of revenue/expense/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/statistical reports.
2. Participates in budget and forecasting activities. Prepares financial outlooks for revenue, expenses, balance sheet, and cash flow by working with functional Vice Presidents (VPs) and executives.
3. Assists with the product pricing process; prepares pricing analysis for revenue initiatives to assess profitability.
4. Serves as a business partner for various teams to understand and analyze key business drivers, translating data into actionable insights that enhance operational effectiveness and financial performance.
5. Assists with integration of newly acquired companies into OEC financial reporting infrastructure.
6. Completes various ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis requests to support ongoing business initiatives and provides relevant, accurate, timely, and actionable information that facilitates management’s decision-making.
Education
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis is required.
Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of reporting systems (Hyperion, Workday, etc.), and Microsoft products and functions (Excel modeling / PowerPoint abilities).
