FRACTURE | People Operations
Senior HR Generalist
The Senior HR Generalist role is an on-site, full-time role designed for a seasoned HR professional who values meaningful, strategic work. For the right candidate, we offer the opportunity to work a reduced schedule. If you’re looking for balance without sacrificing impact, consider bringing your career to Fracture.
Who We Are
Fracture is a pioneering wall decor company specializing in glass photo prints — manufactured right here in the U.S. in our own 30,000 square foot, solar-powered facility. Over the past 15 years, we’ve sold more than 11 million prints to consumers worldwide and built a brand grounded in sustainability, innovation, and exceptional craftsmanship.
We’re a team of around 50 people: a nimble, on-site production crew and a distributed group of non-production team members spread across the country. More than half of our team has been here five or more years — which tells you something about what it’s like to work here. Our culture is close-knit, collaborative, and built on the belief that how we treat our people is just as important as what we make.
We are also proud members of the Fair Labor Association (FLA). Finalizing FLA implementation across our people operations is a key initiative for this role — it’s meaningful work that will have a direct and lasting impact on our team.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for someone to step into a role that touches every corner of the employee experience. You’ll work directly with the Chief of Staff and CEO, supporting strategic decisions while staying grounded in the day-to-day work that keeps our people operations running smoothly.
This role is intentionally structured for someone who brings the skills of a seasoned HR professional and the self-awareness to hit the ground running. You’ll never be bored — expect a healthy balance of proactive initiatives and day-to-day responsiveness.
The team that surrounds this role is strong: your on-site peers include a Controller, an IT Operations Manager, and an Operations Manager. You will have support and context readily available, without ever feeling like you’re navigating things alone.
Over time, this role has real ownership potential. As you settle in, you’ll have the opportunity to take full ownership of the HR function, develop employee engagement programs, and build out training and development tracks that directly shape the work experience for every member of our team. You’ll make a direct and immediate contribution from day one — and the runway to grow into something bigger is there if you want it.
Who You Are
To be successful in the role at Fracture, here’s what we are looking for in our next Senior HR Generalist:
You have a hybrid mindset — equally comfortable building rapport on a production floor and partnering with remote executives on policy
You approach your work with a service orientation and a humility that earns trust rather than demanding it
You are process-oriented and detail-driven without losing sight of the humans behind every task
You have an HR business partner mindset and you can translate strategic direction into practical people programs
You are a strong researcher and communicator, comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving regulation
You handle sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and genuine care
You bring the emotional intelligence to move fluidly between a manufacturing team and a VP-level conversation — and you enjoy that range
You are consistent and trustworthy — in HR, reliability isn’t a soft skill, it’s the foundation
The Work Environment
This is a dynamic manufacturing environment, which means your day will include interaction with both production staff on the floor and remote non-production team members across the country. Comfort with that range — and genuine enjoyment of it — is essential.
You’ll be based on-site at our state-of-the-art, 30,000 square foot, solar-powered facility at San Felasco Tech City — a fast-growing tech campus just outside of Gainesville and centrally located in Alachua County for an easy commute from across the region. We’re surrounded by luxury rental homes, extensive nature trails, and a café, brewery, and wine bar, all within walking distance.
We’re proud of the space we work in and the community we’ve built within it.
What You’ll Do
People & Employee Relations
Serve as a trusted, approachable resource for employees at every level — from production floor to executive leadership
Support managers through employee relations matters, corrective action processes, and performance conversations
Foster a culture of transparency, fairness, and inclusion across both production and non-production employee groups
Conduct or support employee satisfaction surveys and help act on what you learn
HR Administration & Compliance
Own the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and everything in between
Administer HR programs including benefits, leave (FMLA, ADA, LOA, USERRA, STD/LTD), and workers’ compensation
Manage bi-weekly payroll processing in coordination with our finance team
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Serve as liaison with our benefits broker and carriers on health, vision, dental, and 401k plans
Training & FLA Compliance
Continue development and maintenance of training modules in our Litmos LMS (via Paycor), including FLA-aligned content
Ensure existing and new team members complete required compliance training — including anti-harassment, workplace safety, and FLA standards on wage/hour, grievance reporting, and labor practices
Help coordinate onboarding training sequences for new hires, including seasonal production staff
Systems & Reporting
Work in Paycor for HRIS functions: hiring pipeline, onboarding checklists, offboarding, payroll, and reporting
Use Adobe Sign and legal-prepared templates for formal offer letters
Provide strategic HR reporting and updates to the Chief of Staff and CEO as needed
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of HR experience; or 2+ years with a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Management, or related field
Demonstrated experience across HR functions: benefits, leave administration, employee relations, compliance, and full-cycle recruiting
Solid foundational knowledge of payroll norms, benefit programs, and leave administration (FMLA and related)
Solid working knowledge of federal and Florida employment law
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization
Proficiency with Google Suite; comfortable learning and troubleshooting HRIS systems independently
Preferred
Experience with Paycor HRIS (including Litmos LMS) — a genuine plus
SHRM-CP or PHR certification
Experience in a manufacturing or hybrid workforce environment
Familiarity with Fair Labor Association standards or similar ethical labor frameworks
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: Dependent upon experience
Schedule: On-site • Alachua, FL (San Felasco Tech City)
