Job Description: Senior IT & ERP Support
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior IT & ERP Support Specialist to oversee and enhance our technology and ERP operations across all business units. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage IT systems and ERP processes (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) efficiently.
The ideal candidate will act as a key link between business users, IT teams, and vendors — ensuring seamless operations, data accuracy, and continuous process improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Provide advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, POS systems, printers, and network devices across all locations.
- Manage system performance, security, and maintenance to ensure maximum uptime and data integrity.
- Supervise IT inventory, AMC renewals, and vendor service agreements.
- Oversee system backups, antivirus updates, and IT policy compliance.
ERP Support & Optimization
- Act as the primary point of contact for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central support and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot complex ERP issues, coordinate with vendors for customization and upgrades, and ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze business processes to identify system improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
- Lead end-user training sessions and prepare process documentation for ERP workflows.
Reporting & Data Management
- Design, generate, and automate analytical reports for sales, inventory, and operational performance.
- Validate data integrity across systems and assist management with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting for decision-making.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Evaluate IT hardware/software requirements, manage purchase requests, and negotiate vendor contracts.
- Maintain asset lifecycle records, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of IT resources.
- Establish vendor performance metrics and oversee vendor relationship management.
User Support & Training
- Lead IT onboarding for new employees — including system setup, email configuration, and access management.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and store staff on ERP and IT best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for IT systems, ERP modules, and troubleshooting protocols.
Skills & Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (implementation or support experience preferred).
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, hardware, and network troubleshooting.
- Advanced MS Excel and data analytics skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical thinking, process-orientation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT and ERP support roles, preferably in retail or multi-location business environments.
- Proven track record in managing ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and IT management tools.
