The Digital Retail team is responsible for delivering world-class client experiences across Schwab.com, the Schwab Mobile app, and our digital messaging and content platforms. In Digital Retail we empower investors to Own Their Tomorrow by delivering industry-leading, exceptional digital experiences, supporting ~10 million unique monthly users and +150 million monthly logins.

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Digital Strategy to join our Strategic Planning & Insights team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping Digital Retail’s strategy, driving alignment across priorities, and developing compelling insights and communications for senior leadership. You will partner closely with product owners, technology, program management, data teams, and Retail leadership to ensure Digital Retail’s strategy is clear, measurable, and aligned to Schwab’s enterprise goals.

• Strategic Prioritization
• Lead development, rollout, and ongoing refinement of Digital Retail’s prioritization framework, ensuring investment and capacity are aligned to the highest-impact initiatives.
• Partner with product, technology, and Retail strategy to drive transparent decision-making across the portfolio.
• Executive Storytelling & Communications
• Develop high-quality executive deliverables, including monthly leadership presentations, CEO updates, and ad hoc strategy decks.
• Translate complex data and program outcomes into clear, compelling narratives that articulate Digital Retail’s value to clients and the enterprise.
• Strategic Planning & Alignment
• Support long-range digital strategy development and annual planning processes.
• Partner with product operations and product teams to ensure strategic goals are reflected in execution roadmaps.
• Anticipate and proactively respond to executive inquiries, ensuring leadership has timely, accurate, and strategic perspectives.
• Insights & Competitive Intelligence
• Synthesize client feedback, performance data, and competitive trends into actionable recommendations for Digital Retail leadership.
• Partner with Manager of Data & Reporting as well as Schwab Data team to evolve insights from descriptive reporting toward predictive and strategic perspectives.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• 7–10+ years of experience in digital strategy, product strategy, management consulting, or corporate strategy within financial services or other regulated industries
• Analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and comfort with ambiguity
• Demonstrated expertise with strategic development
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, demonstrated ability developing materials and effectively presenting information to all levels of management in order to facilitate business decisions
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and building alignment across multiple stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong ability to connect strategy to execution, with experience in prioritization frameworks, portfolio management, or capacity planning
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with a track record of producing executive-level deliverables and influencing senior leaders
• Initiative: Strong self-starter with excellent business judgment and ability to proactively solve problems
• Analytical thinking: Ability to scope and structure analysis and develop solutions to answer ad hoc business questions from senior management efficiently and accurately
• Can take on a thought leadership role in an area of focus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
