We are looking for a Sr Manager Estimation reporting to GM – Projects in a leading MEP Projects and Multi-technical Services Company, Electromech Infraprojects Pvt Ltd.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge all RFP and RFQ enquiries. Ensure that details of all projects such as scope, location, size, consultants, etc. are populated in the internal tracker by the Jr. Engineer
• Study the drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, commercial terms, etc of the project in detail. Raise timely and appropriate queries to the client and follow up for response.
• Raise enquiries to all the suppliers/vendors from approved make list and extended database. Follow up with all vendors until all quotes are received.
• Undertake estimates in accordance with Company procedures and bring for discussion with Sr. Manager and Management before submission to client.
• Submit RFP as per client guidelines. Detailed list of deviations and remarks to be added in the submissions
• Comparisons of all supplier rates to be made and shared on Company drives. Negotiate and follow up with suppliers.
• Assist Manager Estimation for larger tenders, mentoring and developing junior estimators
• Identify opportunity and risk during tender process
• Assist in developing a tender win strategy alongside the business unit teams
• Liaise with the business unit, Sr. Estimation Manager to agree methodology and principles
• Develop multi discipline concepts, detailed and definite cost estimates for company capital projects.
• Prepared technical proposals in collaboration with other relevant departments.
• To ensure Cost Forecasting and Control.
• Support technically in review of design packages and drawings.
• Obtain feedback from site teams on estimating adequacy and current costs
• To work in close coordination with Estimation, Procurement & projects Team
• All jobs assigned by the Manager Estimation/ MD

Qualification & preferred Skills:

• BE/Diploma Electrical, with 10-15 years of experience in construction and project execution.
• Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
• Teamwork & Leadership skills.
• IT Skills – MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred.
• Excellent in organizing &documentation skill
• Ability to travel extensively and perform site visits
