Sr. Planning Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer(MEP) for a well-established MEP contractor in Dubai.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• 7–10 years of experience in project planning, progress monitoring, and delay analysis, with at least 5 years’ exposure to MEP works within MEP or fit-out projects.
• Responsible for preparing and managing detailed MEP project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Develop baseline schedules, track project progress, and regularly update programs based on site developments.
• Work closely with MEP teams, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate planning activities.
• Support resource planning, cost loading of schedules, and earned value analysis where required.
• Perform delay analysis and propose mitigation or recovery plans to maintain project timelines.
• Provide planning inputs to tendering and estimation teams during the bid stage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and related reporting or presentation tools.
• Familiarity with manpower productivity benchmarks for MEP activities including testing and commissioning phases.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within project teams.
