Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product roadmap aligned with company goals; prioritize features for [AI chatbot or product] based on user needs, market trends, and business impact.
- Requirement Gathering and Prioritization: Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and competitive analysis; create detailed PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) and user stories to guide development.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering to scope technical feasibility, UX/UI designers for intuitive interfaces, and marketing for go-to-market strategies; ensure alignment across teams.
- Agile Development Oversight: Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments; use tools like Jira or Asana to manage backlogs and track progress.
- Performance Metrics and Iteration: Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., user retention, MAUs, feature adoption); leverage analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel) to iterate based on data insights.
- AI and Tech Integration: Work with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI/ML features (e.g., natural language processing for chatbots); stay updated on 2025 trends like generative AI or privacy compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present product updates, roadmaps, and performance reports to leadership; gather feedback from users and internal teams to refine product direction.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Partner with marketing to develop launch plans, including positioning, user onboarding, and promotional content (e.g., YouTube Shorts for chatbot promotion).
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years in product management, preferably in SaaS, AI, or consumer tech; proven success launching features that drove at least 15-20% growth in user engagement or revenue.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with product management tools (Jira, Trello, Productboard), analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel), and basic understanding of APIs, cloud systems, or AI/ML workflows.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, prioritization, and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders; user empathy and problem-solving mindset.
- Certifications (Preferred): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Pragmatic Institute Certification, or Google Analytics certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-driven products (e.g., chatbots, recommendation systems) or mobile apps.
- Background in UX research or growth hacking for user acquisition.
- Portfolio showcasing product launches with measurable outcomes (e.g., case studies on retention or revenue uplift).
