Sr. project Engineer High Voltage

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee design and implementation of HV systems (substations, switchgear, transformers).
• Review drawings, specs, protection studies, and vendor documents.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and 3D model reviews.
• Manage subcontractor performance and fabrication quality.
• Support site installation, inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Handle technical queries, design changes, and documentation.
• Contribute to schedule tracking, risk mitigation, and reporting.
• Interface with Operations, Maintenance, and external authorities.
• Ensure HSE and quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 10+ years relevant experience; 5+ in high-voltage EPC/EPCC projects.
• Strong knowledge of IEC standards, HV systems, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Professional certification in engineering or project management (preferred).
