Sr. Quantity Surveyor

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Miniman 5 years of UAE experience in a similar role within the interior fit-out or construction industry.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Quantity Surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Plan swift, or similar).
• Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and project budgeting.
• Strong ability to analyze project costs, budgets, and financial data.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and conduct accurate quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Liaise with subcontractors and draft agreements, ensuring progress payments align with contractual allowable.
• Work closely with Team Leaders and clients to follow up on work variations and pricing on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare detailed monthly cost reports and monitor ongoing project costs.
• Perform additional tasks as required by management.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on initial designs or project specifications.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure the project stays within budget.
• Conduct cost audits and value engineering to optimize cost-efficiency.
• Draft and review contracts, ensuring the terms and conditions are favorable to the client.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis for construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all financial transactions, project costs, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ensure that construction work complies with building codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines.
