Sr. Specialist – Platform Operations (eCommerce)

Location: Gurgaon, India

Experience: 2–5 years


Purpose

The Sr. Specialist – Platform Operations will manage and optimize daily eCommerce operations across websites and mobile apps for the EM market. Acting as a bridge between local business teams, global digital/IT, and platform partners, this role ensures platform stability, operational efficiency, and a seamless customer experience.


What We’re Looking For

A detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in eCommerce operations and platform management. The ideal candidate can analyze data, resolve technical and business issues, and drive performance improvements across multiple sites and marketplaces using analytical and visualization tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define, monitor, and report on business KPIs and SLAs (checkout, payment, shipping, etc.) .
  • Support local and global teams in implementing eCommerce best practices.
  • Manage configurations on platforms like Commerce Cloud and Product Information Master.
  • Coordinate enhancement requests and lead UAT before deployment.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze and report key metrics (conversion, checkout, payments, returns).
  • Ensure data accuracy across systems (inventory, orders, taxes, shipping).
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and troubleshoot platform issues to maintain optimal performance.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Good understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital operations.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Power BI.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in cross-functional environments.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in eCommerce, retail, or digital operations.
