Pay Range: $57,500 and up based on experience

About Us:
Valore Campus provides on-campus store management for colleges and universities across the United States. We deliver a first-class campus store experience to students, faculty, alumni, and guests by providing a vast collection of textbooks, course materials, and other merchandise. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team and assist with accounting needs at our campus stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, experience with financial and tax reporting, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
Reconcile and manage accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard financial assets
Prepare reports for management and provide insights for business decision-making
Maintain accurate accounting records and files

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field
Experience in accounting and bookkeeping, multi-location retail experience preferred
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
Proficient in Quickbooks Desktop and/or QBO, experience with bill.com payables and receivable platform a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office software
Experience with various corporate tax aspects (income, property, sales, etc.)
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
