Staff Accountant

I’m hiring a full-time Staff Accountant who wants to do meaningful work helping business owners understand their numbers, stay compliant, and make smarter financial decisions.

This role is a mix of bookkeeping, accounting, and tax strategy support. You’ll work directly with our team and our clients to make sure their financials are accurate, organized, and actually useful.

Because clean books are great.

But clear financial strategy is even better.

Our clients are impact-driven entrepreneurs — many of them coaches, digital marketers, and online business owners who are growing quickly and need someone who understands both the details and the strategy behind their numbers.

You’ll help us deliver accounting services through our framework called the CLEAR Method:

C – Compliance
Keeping financials accurate, organized, and ready for tax time.

Helping clients understand what their numbers mean for their future.

E – Efficiency
Building systems that make financial management easier.

A – Advanced Tax Planning
Looking ahead to help clients legally minimize their taxes.

Regularly reviewing financials so clients can make confident decisions.

Your work will directly impact the financial clarity and success of our clients.

What You'll Be Doing

This role combines technical accounting work and client impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Reconciling bank, credit card, and loan accounts
• Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements
• Supporting tax preparation for individuals and businesses
• Assisting with tax planning strategies
• Reviewing financials for accuracy and compliance
• Identifying issues, errors, or opportunities in financial data
• Communicating with the team about client accounts
• Helping improve internal processes and workflows

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience with bookkeeping and accounting
• Experience preparing individual and/or business tax returns
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with tax planning strategies
• Experience working with entrepreneurs or online businesses
• A proactive mindset and desire to improve processes

You do not need to be a CPA.

But you do need to know your stuff.
