Summary of Job:

We are seeking a skilled clerk to perform a variety of bookkeeping and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to basic bookkeeping/data entry, maintenance of accounts receivables and payables, reconciling bank statements and supporting other departments with administrative tasks. The Ideal candidate will have knowledge experience of managing QuickBooks and will be highly organized with the goal of maintaining a steady and continuous workflow.

Successful applicants should be familiar with accounting procedures, have a general aptitude for numbers and be exceptionally organized in keeping and maintaining files and records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide bookkeeping and clerical support to Accounting Department

2. Proficiency in typing, data entry and preparing accounting documents and reports

3. Reconciling bank statements at month end AND weekly reconciliation of income accounts.

4. Commitment to performing daily task such as daily sales journal entries and categorizing transactions into the chart of accounts accurately

5. Excellent communication skills utilizing all avenues, including but not limited to verbal in-person, verbal phone and emails.

6. Maintain a high level of organization and facilitate workflow to ensure a productive workplace environment.

7. Cooperative demeanor and willingness to provide assistance and support to company personnel.

8. Passion for continuous learning and updating job knowledge

9. Perform general administrative, clerical and executive support to contribute to the organization sustainability

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Highschool degree

2. Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus

3. Successful work experience in the accounting/bookkeeping field

4. Working knowledge of bookkeeping, data entry and accounting procedures

5. Proven history and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks. Knowledge of Desktop and Online QuickBooks is a plus

6. Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail

7. Aptitude for numbers, while maintaining detailed digital and physical records.

Effective problem solver, self-starter and the knowledge to know when to ask questions.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
