Staff Accountant Needed

Celero Commerce is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this role, you’ll support accurate financial reporting, contribute to month-end close activities, and help maintain the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Support month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting and decision-making
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare routine reports and schedules to support financial analysis
• Respond to requests from internal teams and external stakeholders with professionalism and timeliness
• Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions in compliance with applicable regulations
• Support Senior Accountants, management, and functional teams (such as AP and AR) with ad hoc requests and projects
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Utilize accounting systems and tools to track and record financial data
• Provide support across other accounting functions as needed

Experience & Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in an accounting or finance-related role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Experience using accounting software and Excel for analysis and reporting
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Clear and effective communication skills for working across teams
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, think critically, and contribute to business-impacting solutions
• A strong sense of ownership and commitment to acting in the best financial interest of the organization
