Introduction

The Anaesthesia Department at Aga Khan University Hospital is dedicated to delivering comprehensive perioperative care, operating room services for surgical procedures, intensive care for critically ill surgical patients in our surgical intensive care unit, and expert pain management for acute and chronic conditions. Our department comprises skilled anesthesiologists, qualified nurses, and highly trained surgical and anesthesia technicians. Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• perform preoperative anaesthesia assessment of patients
• provide perioperative anaesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery
• provide anaesthesia care to patients undergoing procedures outside the operating room (Radiology, Radiotherapy and endoscopy suites, etc)
• perform related procedures under the supervision of a consultant
• follow the hospital’s quality and patient safety policies in the provision of patient care
• take part in department quality improvement initiatives.
