Staff Nurse

We are looking forward to hire Staff Nurse having Qualification in B.sc (Nursing), DGNM or ANM for Our Institution located in Darga Road, Pallavaram.

Roles And Responsibilities :

Student Health Care

• Provide first aid and immediate medical care to students and staff.
• Attend to minor injuries, illness, fever, headaches, and stomach pain.
• Administer prescribed medicines with parental consent.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, allergies).
• Maintain individual health records of students.

✅ Health Check-ups & Preventive Care

• Conduct routine health screenings (height, weight, vision, hearing).
• Assist in organizing vaccination and medical camps.
• Monitor immunization records of students.
• Identify symptoms of communicable diseases and take preventive action.

✅ Emergency Management

• Respond quickly to medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with ambulance and nearby hospitals when required.
• Inform parents/guardians in case of serious illness or injury.
• Maintain and regularly check first aid kits and emergency equipment.

✅ Health Education & Awareness

• Educate students on hygiene, nutrition, and healthy habits.
• Conduct awareness programs on adolescent health and mental well-being.
• Promote cleanliness and sanitation practices within the school.

✅ Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily treatment register and medical reports.
• Record accidents and incidents properly.
• Submit health reports to school management when required.

✅ Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with teachers regarding student health concerns.
• Liaise with local healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with school health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in disaster management and safety drills.
