STAFF SERVICES MANAGER I

We are seeking someone to be a leader on this new team. In this role you will have the unique opportunity to get in at the beginning of forming a team that will empower high-potential employees to explore new career paths. This team will deliver personalized development experiences including individual development plans, assessments, rotational assignments, customized curriculum, job shadowing, mentorship, and other growth opportunities. This role will be a frontline leader of individuals selected from the organization to participate in this program. This person will help recruit, select and guide participants through the process of preparing for a new role in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the creation of policies and procedures for this new team
• Market this new initiative, recruit, and select participants for the program
• Collaborate on the formation of individual development plans for each participant
• Establish rotational assignments for participants
• Lead, guide, hold accountable everyone in their hierarchy
• Facilitate training and conduct reviews of resumes, statements of qualification and mock interviews
• Support curriculum development efforts including outreach to, and building relationships with institutions of higher learning

• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Project management experience
• Open, inclusive, results-oriented, self-starter, mentor, teacher, guide
• Ability to develop a plan of action, achieve buy-in, and execute to the plan successfully
• Strong relationship building expertise
• Management skills that show the ability to lead, earn staff respect and inspire confidence
• Flexibility to work with employees at all levels in the organization

New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of the alternate salary range when applicable. Placement to alternate salary range may be based on education or experience identified in your state application.
