We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable advanced statistics tutor with extensive educating experience to join our educational team. Duties

• Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions in advanced statistics.
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, learning styles, and educational goals.
• Incorporate innovative learning technologies and digital resources to enhance understanding and retention of complex concepts.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure mastery of subject matter.
• Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and project work.
• Support students in developing problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities through practical applications of mathematical principles.
• Maintain a positive learning environment by practicing effective classroom management techniques and fostering student engagement.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational coordinators to monitor student progress and address specific learning challenges.
• Stay current with advancements in mathematics education, curriculum standards, and emerging educational technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching statistics at various levels including elementary, secondary, or higher education.
• Strong knowledge of advanced statistic.
• Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content tailored to diverse learner needs using innovative teaching methods and learning technology tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively to students of different ages and backgrounds.
• Experience working with children as well as adult learners; familiarity with classroom management is preferred.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with educational software platforms and online tutoring tools.
• Background in higher education teaching or experience working within academic institutions is highly desirable.
• Passion for education with a commitment to fostering student growth.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
