Steel Cladding Technician

Job Summary

Skodtec Elevators is a leading elevator installation and maintenance company in Dubai, known for delivering high-quality, safe and innovative vertical transportation solutions. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Steel Cladding Technician with hands-on experience in elevator and structural cladding to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform steel cladding works for elevator cabins, doors, frames, and other related structures.
• Handle cutting, fitting, polishing, and finishing of stainless steel, aluminum, and other cladding materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications to ensure accuracy in installation.
• Carry out on-site installation of steel panels, decorative cladding, and cabin interiors as per project requirements.
• Ensure all cladding works meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and site teams to deliver projects on time.
• Perform routine checks, repairs, and maintenance of cladded surfaces.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in proper condition.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in steel cladding (preferably in elevators, construction, or interior fit-outs).
• Strong knowledge of stainless steel finishing techniques (brushed, mirror, satin, etc.).
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in using tools such as grinders, polishers, cutting machines, and measuring instruments.
• Good understanding of site safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit to handle heavy material and site work.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
