Steel Superintendent

Role Objective:

To execute assigned works such that they are completed within the time, cost and quality requirements of the contract while adhering to the company’s safety practices and manpower productivity. Assigns and efficiently distributes available resources and materials.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and controlling cost at site
• Responsible for optimizing the allocated manpower, material and equipment for assigned projects.
• Assists in the introduction of new methods of construction, equipment, and machinery to improve the construction process.
• Responsible for the daily needs and site control of his projects.
• Responsible for the distribution of the work force on site as per the daily program prepared by the Site Engineer or the Site Construction Manager.
• Responsible for labor attendance and productivity.
• Coordinates the overall work of the civil, steel, and MEP crews on site.
• Responsible for the overall safety on his site.
• Responsible for the timely delivery of required site forms (within 48 hours) including all Material delivery notes (with authorized signature and ID number), Master Labor Card and Daily Activity Report when applicable.
• Monitors all subcontractor works to ensure their compliance with the job specifications and time plan.
• Assists Site Construction Manager in preparing look-ahead schedules for his projects.
• Responsible for material inflow and outflow from his site store.
• Ensures no material wastage at site
