Steel Fabricator

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our small fabrication team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using MIG/TIG welding machines.

Duties:- Utilise power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components- Conduct stick welding to join metal parts together (On-site only)- Carry out welding tasks with precision and attention to detail- Apply basic maths skills to measure and cut materials accurately- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues. On site will work also undertaken.

Qualifications:- Proven experience in welding and fabricating metal components- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and MIG welding equipment - Solid understanding of various steel section fabrication techniques- Ability to weld various types of metals with precision- Competency in basic maths for measurements and calculations- Strong skills in assembling fabricated parts accurately- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and problem-solving within the fabrication process. Experience fabricating gates, balustrades, staircases and general fabrications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour

Experience:

• MIG welding: 3 years (preferred)
• Fabrication: 5 years (required)
