Steel Sheet Metal Designer (Design, Fabrication & Installation)

We are seeking an experienced Steel Sheet Metal Designer with strong expertise in SolidWorks sheet metal, AutoCAD, Tekla 3D, and other relevant design software. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of machinery, fabrication processes, and site installation for a wide range of steel works, including:

• Fire-rated steel doors
• Steel partitions
• Metal ceilings
• Exterior façade panels
• Steel structures
• Main gates and decorative metal works

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for steel sheet metal works.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication.
• Supervise installation works at site in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure fire-rated doors and partitions comply with required standards and certifications.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for technical reviews and approvals.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion of all works.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in steel sheet metal design and site installation.
• Strong knowledge of fire-rated systems, steel partitions, ceilings, façades, and structural steel works.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal), AutoCAD, Tekla 3D, and related design software.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in GCC projects.
• Knowledge of international fire-rating standards and fabrication codes.
