This role is ideal for STEM teachers or early-career scientists who enjoy explaining complex ideas. You’ll turn manuals, datasheets, and engineer interviews into technical narratives with correct units and cautions, apply SEO best practices, and publish in our CMS with light HTML/CSS. If you learn software quickly, write clean English, and love diving into new scientific concepts, you’ll help expand our catalog of 10,000+ products—and make a real impact on how customers choose the right tools.

What You’ll Do

Write & Structure Product Content

  • Author product pages that explain what it is, how it’s used, compatible accessories, specifications, and what not to use it for.
  • Create comparison tables, application notes, FAQs, and quick-start guides with consistent terminology and units.
  • Draft with AI-assisted tools where helpful, then fact-check and polish for accuracy and tone.

Publish & Optimize

  • Build pages in our CMS; perform light HTML/CSS formatting and internal linking.
  • Apply SEO fundamentals: search intent, titles/meta, headers, alt text, schema-ready structure.
  • QA every release: specs, links, downloads, unit consistency, and editorial style.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field (teaching credential a plus).
  • Writing: Excellent English, proofreading, and ability to translate technical documentation into plain language.
  • Software Aptitude: Quick learner with CMS experience and comfort making light HTML/CSS edits.
  • SEO Knowledge: Understands keywords, structure, and on-page best practices for technical audiences.
  • Mindset: Curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable interviewing engineers and reading specs/drawings.

Samples (Required)

  • 2–3 writing samples: a lab guide/lesson or technical explainer, and a product-style page if available.
  • Brief note on how you use AI responsibly to accelerate first drafts.

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

  • Full-time, on-site in Albuquerque, NM; flexible schedule within Mon–Fri office hours.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
