Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations (inward, storage, and outward of materials).
- Receive materials as per Purchase Order (PO) and verify quantity, quality, and documents.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/manual registers.
- Issue materials to departments against authorized requisitions.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.
- Conduct regular stock verification and cycle counts.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards in the store.
- Prevent material loss, damage, or pilferage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Inventory management and stock control knowledge.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP/SAP preferred).
- Good documentation and record-keeping ability.
- Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to lead store assistants/helpers.
- Understanding of safety and material handling practices.
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum: Graduate / Diploma (any discipline).
- Certification in Stores/Inventory/Material Management is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as Store Incharge / Store Keeper in manufacturing, construction, or logistics.
Working Conditions
- Industrial / warehouse environment.
- May involve handling heavy materials and working in shifts.
